I asked a question and no answers so far, and there's like a hundred questions more with no answers. Why is that? Why no one uses that section to answer?
=/ It's because there are math top contributors who only likes to answer math questions, not non-math questions. I sometimes uses that section to answer when I'm bored in Y! Answers.Because no one wants to do homework, especially when it's for other people and there is nothing to gain from it.Maybe nobody saw the question.I can only speak for myself, but the times I went there it seemed like the majority of questions were asking for somebody to do a complete assignment from start to finish, rather than looking for help in finishing something they were having trouble with.
I teach, and that attitude really annoys meâ ”I certainly get enough of it at school from kids who want somebody to feed them answers rather than help them learn how to figure the answers out themselves. Seeing a lot of questions like that is enough to turn off the most helpful person. Apparently all the math whizzes are not on line tonight. I with I could help, but math is not my thing. English, yes.Your question must be really hard. I see some questions have 1 or 2 answers. Not too great!
Try asking it in "Higher Education." It's also in the Education Category. Yeah, you'll get answers there!
They don't have to know if you're in college or not. ;)A lot of folks around here are tired of basically doing someone else's homeworkKids should do their own homework.
