India Pale Ales are my favorite, they're deliciously bitter and have such a deep array of flavors to complement the bitterness. Ice beer any time ICE COLD! Otherwise, it's Guinness Stout Ale, or Genesee Ale. I've learned to never trust a company that uses horses to advertise a yellow foaming liquid, though. Guess you could say I have eclectic tastes for a Texan! LOLi like to match my beer with the seasons:
summer - hoegaarden or bud or corona
autumn- john smiths, tetley
winter - guiness, coopers sparkling ale
spring - pilsner lagerI personally like lager. But lager not from Europe i.e Carslberg and Carling. Mexican Lager is great. I have recently discovered Modelo which has a great flavor and is really easy drinking. USA lagers are quite nice too but some lack and little punch. Saying that i recently brought a beer called Anchor Steam beer made in San Fransisco and it is buy far the best beer i have ever tastedGerman weißbier like Franziskaner Hefe-Weiß and Paulaner Dunkelweiß
Belgian Abbey ales such as Chimay, Maredsous and Duvel/Ommegang
American micro's like Victory Golden Monkey, Troeg's DreamweaverI loooove the IPA's.
My favourite is called Hophead, it's brewed in the BC interior, and I also love Dead Frog (they're brewed locally to where I live, in British Columbia. I know you're probably thinking you've never heard of them lol)
For more well known beer, I love Sleeman's Honey brown and Guinness. I have been know to choke down a Budweiser or Corona, but I prefer not to. That's kind of a last resort.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
