What are you watching?

  • Basically, this is the same thing as the What are you listening to/playing? thread in The Crib, but for tv shows.


    I'm currently watching the 10th episode of the first season of Penn & Teller: BS!. It's the one about ESP.

  • I was going to make a list of what I watch, but as I got down to it, I really don't watch the same thing every week. I flip around and tune it to something that sounds interesting. Lately I've been really into these educational programs. I TiVo'd a show on killer whales and the Bermuda Triangle that I need to watch.

    And of course, anything on celebrities on E! or VH1. :D


  • Those are all on reruns though. Mainly, this is a good summer for reality tv fans, but new episodes of Reno 911, Nip/Tuck, Drew Carey Show, etc... all air weekly.


  • I am currently watching "24" season 2 again.

    I rented it way back...

    and now I finally bought both season's on DVD.

    I can't wait to buy season 3 this December to find out what happens with this third season.

    It's not as good as Alias...

    but it's one or two steps beneath it.

    Still one Hell of a good show... despite it's flaws.

    I am also taping "Star Gate Altantis" not "SG-1".

    I liked the pilot a lot for Atlantis... but the series has taken a dive after the third episode. I hope they don't make it as bad as SG-1, though.

    No offense SG people.

  • I'm pretty random in my viewing...but there are a few shows I'm going out of my way to catch....

    Chappelle's Show, Last Comic Standing, BB5, and What Not To Wear are the ones I know I've been going out of my way for on a regular basis.

    BB5 is sucking big time this year...but I'm still watching it because I'm a sick person.

    Last night I watched the FOX show about switching Mom's and I actually like it a lot. Thought it was very cool how they took the rich white woman and put her with the struggling black family and vice versa. Anyone see it?

  • I was watching a marathon of Law and Order reruns and I have picked up on the following L&O plot... thingies.

    -It is never who you think it is, or why you think it happened

    -If a character's phone rings while they are conducting inquiries, something big has happened

    -If the dramatic music starts while someone is on the stand, or being interviewed by the DA, then they are probably going to confess or rat on someone else

  • ^ LOL!SMF! Not much of a tv watcher, 'cept for DVD's. Right now watchin' an old western on AMC. Chuck Heston doin' his thing. Big teeth a chewin the scenery. MMMMMYYYY *Breath* Goooood. Sorry, hard to do a Chuck Heston impression via the keyboard!

  • What am I watching? Not much.

    Currently:

    Teen Titans (How did I get hooked? I think it was the theme song. It's addicting.)
    Neon Genesis Evangelion (I know it's anime. But it's GOOD anime.)
    Futurama (Still haven't seen all of them.)
    Family Guy (Same)

    TV is pretty boring for me, and everything on that list is a cartoon. I need to find some good shows.
